Acadia University in Nova-Scotia, CANADA, will soon inaugurate her new aquatic facility. The wet lab, provided by aquabioLab, will feature a marine room, a tropical fish and amphibian room, a turtle room and more.

- a Closed-circuit Marine System for benthic animals
This wet table is designed to house small invertebrates in individual aquaria. Buckets can be set directly under the air and water outlets as they come from the field. Larger animals or large arrivals are set in the two Swedish tanks.
- a Closed-circuit System for marine fish
In these three insulted tanks, researchers can adjust water temperature, down to 4°C, adjust the level of dissolved oxygen, and precisely regulate the level of make-up water inflow, up to 100% of total volume exchanged per day.
Each tank is equiped with a sediment trap that removes 80% of feacal matter when opening the purge valve.
A cental network linking all individual Monitrons control and monitoring systems alows us to trouble shoot systems at distance.
