Tanks A fibreglass tank (425 L volume), with a two-part easy to handle transparent lid and removable screen divider.  This tank is supported by a rack in fibreglass and plastic.
Solid removal Residue filtering system consists of one pad filter followed by a carbon filter (4” thick, holds 25 pounds of activated carbon), and crushed coral filtration.
CO2 degassing and aeration Aeration with air stones.
CO2 degassing by the propeller pump.
Water temperature range and control 4-20°C (room temperature at 20°C)
Includes one 1/2 HP air cooled chiller with titanium heat exchanger
Temperature controlled by an electronic controller with digital display.
Chemical control Natural crushed coral with higher buffering capacity aragonite contributes to the maintenance of an optimal pH
Biofiltration -Nitrification
Media pre-coated with active freshwater nitrifying bacteria
These are activated before delivery with active freshwater or marine nitrifying bacteria. This unique feature saves you a tremendous amount of biofilter maturation time, protecting your fish against ammonia peaks during the first months. Guidance is provided on how to reactivate the nitrifying population within the biofilter upon its delivery.
Water pumping Quiet drive propeller pump.
Piping and valves PVC schedule 40
Faeces and uneaten food removal Self-cleaning tank: the water velocity cleans the tank floor and concentrates the feces at the end of this tank where it is easy to remove.
