Automatic sunrise and sunset simulation

• Lights come on and off gradually, eliminating stress associated with sudden changes in light intensity;
• Simulated dawn and dust can enhance circadian rhythms;
  
• You program the duration of dawn and dusk (1 to 99 min.);

Lets you program light intensity

• Light intensity can be adjusted to satisfy this need (from 0 to 100% of maximum intensity);
• Studies on circadian rhythms are eased with this feature;
• Up to 16 different intensity fluctuations (pulse lighting) of various duration and intensities can be programmed on 24 hour cycles;
  

 

Astral photoperiod

• For any geographical position (longitude, latitude) and date you program, a natural photo-period is created;

Light fixtures can be located above each shelf

Series of light emitting diodes (LED);

• 12 Volt DC
• 30 LED per shelf, maximum of 150 LED per unit;
• Lights are enclosed in water-tight plastic fixtures;
• The fixtures are fastened above each row of tanks and connected directly to the Monitron;
• The open space left between the lid of the 9L tanks and the LED fixture is 9 cm;
• Each LED provides 16 000 microcandella and comes in the standard white colour;
• All tanks are guaranteed to receive the right amount of light;
  
  

Dual operation

• It is possible to gradually switch from the Manual mode (lights on and off at fixed times) to the Astral mode (natural photoperiod) at any date that you pre-program;
  

Changes season's length

• The SunMatch Photoperiod Controller can increase or shorten seasons, and modify the duration of the year. For example, a year can be made with a short winter, followed by a long spring;
• Visualize your photoperiod, a RS 232 exit permits to transfer data to a computer for graphical visualization of the last two months of utilization.
