The Arctik Model

Performance and results

• This is the foremost model of the 6- and 3-pack series. It has been designed to hold the aquaria water down to very low temperatures;
• These top of the line aquaria are ideal for rearing cold water invertebrates, juveniles of salmonids, gasterosteidae and more;
• As well as containing all of the general features of the 6-and 3 Pack units, the Arctik Model also incorporates photoperiod capabilities;
  

Flexibility and innovation

• The unit includes totally waterproofed lights emitting diodes are built directly into the lid of each aquarium, to simulate dawn and dusk in any of your aquaria;
• If you choose the SunMatch system, any photoperiodic period, circadian and annual can be simulated for the whole unit;
  

Saves time and money

• In order to save energy and reduce condensation, the front window is constructed from thermos type energy-reduction glass, while the double-walled polystyrene insulated lid is made of molded plastic. The system is fully energy efficient.

Thermal control units	Thermoelectric module with titanium heat exchanger for each aquarium. Cooling and reheating of the water. Central metal heat removal (fan) situated on the top shelf of the unit. (Sensitive to salty and humid atmosphere, the fan can be installed in an adjacent room).
Efficacy of the lid and front window insulation	The lid is made of molded Fiberglas double-walled with polystyrene insulation. The front window is constructed from thermos type energy-reduction glass (2 cm thick).
Light Source	Diode type lights (LED) are embedded in the lid.

Photoperiodic control	Not included. An automatic rheostat module (MRA) with a timer, or the SunMatch, an astral photoperiod controller, can be connected to the diodes.

The Mesotherm Model

The Mesotherm Model is ideal for studies involving temperate fresh-water invertebrates, such as ypriniforms (fathead minnow, goldfish), perciforms, and esociforms.

Economical and performant

• This is a more economical model which, is capable of cooling each aquarium independently;
• The same Arctik Model high-end six-step filtration system is incorporated in the Mesotherm Model;
• Insulated, however properties of the cover and of the ½” Plexiglas front window are not of the same order as those of the Arctik Model.;
• The lowest temperature obtainable in the Mesotherm Model is about 15°C in a room temperature of 20°C;
• The incorporation of a Thermo-Monitron electronic controller in Mesotherm aquaria ensures that water temperature control is extremely precise (± 0.1°C);
  

Flexible

• Probes for salinity, pH, dissolved oxygen, or ORP can also be connected;
• The photoperiods can be reproduced by means of a SunMatch system or an MRA in the aquaria room.

The Tropik Model

The Tropik Model is appreciated where high quality water in the raising of tropical fish, invertebrates or batrachians is required. This is the simplest and most economical model of our 6- and 3-pack series.

Simple and economical

• It consists of the same aquaria, lids and sophisticated filtration system as in the Mesotherm Model, but without the cooling ca[abilities;
• The water temperature is controlled by means of a submerged water heater with integrated temperature control within each aquarium;
• The Thermo-Monitron is not included as a standard feature, however it is available in option if needed.;
• The photoperiods can be simulated in the laboratory room by means of our SunMatch or MRA.
